It’s a double celebration at Elevate Property Group as they celebrate both their ten year anniversary and reaching the milestone of building 1,000 new homes in the past ten years.
And the Birmingham-based independent developer is set to build almost half as many again, with a total of 494 homes going into construction during 2022.
Elevate’s first major Birmingham project was Concord House, a £10 million renovation and construction project based on the former Debenhams furniture warehouse occupying the corner of Marshall Street which was built in the 1930s.
The existing five storey building was developed to seven storey’s to include the top floor penthouses, featuring some of Birmingham’s largest and most luxurious apartments.
The largest penthouse, at over 4,000 sq ft, boasted a cantilevered structure and three roof top terraces plus garaging for four vehicles.
Concord House was swiftly followed by developments at Queensway House, St Pauls House, Tennant Street Lofts, Assay Lofts and Sheldon Court in Birmingham, and Princes Gate in Solihull.
As Elevate grew from a predominantly West Midlands developer into a national business, further projects quickly followed including Queens House Coventry, The Post House Gloucester, Alban House Hereford, and Victoria Point in Ashford, Kent.
In recognition of Elevate’s continued growth and ambitious plans, key appointments were recently made which include James Costello, Development Director and Sam Meeten as Land Director.
The new recruits will work alongside fellow directors Steve Dodd, founder, Mike Diskin Finance Director and David Hofton Sales Director.
Steve Dodd said: “It has been a challenging time to be in business but throughout, our focus has been on delivering ‘best in class’ homes for our buyers.”
Next year is set to be another record-breaking year for Elevate with the commencement of 258 apartments at Liversage Street Derby, 60 new apartments on the next phase of the popular Princes Gate development in Solihull, 85 new apartments at Price Street, Birmingham and the second phase of the Trent Bridge Quays development in Nottingham providing 58 new homes, with work also starting on 18 new homes at Edith Walk, Malvern.
2022 will also see the completion of 98 new homes at the Trent Bridge Quays project in Nottingham, 79 apartments at Priory House and 57 homes at Heaton House schemes in central Birmingham.
