King’s Reach vision is realised as Martin Grant Homes launch Central Square

At the heart of the development residents will now be able to enjoy the tree-lined market square

In June Martin Grant Homes will add the Central Square to the new residential community being built at the King’s Reach development in Biggleswade. Sitting at the heart of the development, residents will now be able to enjoy the tree-lined market square, which has been designed with a clean, modern, yet classic feel to it. A diverse range of facilities, including a school and separate nursery, retail space, care home, Tesco Express and café will also be delivered in the Centre by September 2015.

At more than  247 acres King’s Reach will provide up to 2,100 new homes over the next 5-6 years, together with employment, retail, leisure and other facilities and will create opportunities for many new jobs and in excess of 90 acres of new play and recreation areas, woodland and open space. Penrose Park is Martin Grant Homes’ development of 650 homes, which forms part of the wider development. Providing a mix of high-quality one and two-bedroom apartments two, three and four bedroom homes – some of the homes will be centred around the new square.

Michael Meanley, Managing Director at Martin Grant Homes, said: “When planning the King’s Reach and Penrose Park development, we thought carefully about putting the houses in the right location and in the right environment. With the new community facilities we are installing – we are creating a new place with the right attributes so that people want to live here and are proud of living here. As the sole providers of the amenities at Central Square, we have ensured that all age groups are catered for and the beginning of construction this month only continues to build on the momentum for this site.”

Michael continues: “Penrose Park isn’t just another development of new homes; it stands apart from the crowd as its residents benefit from major improvements to local facilities that will enhance the area, and in turn provide good investment potential. We are currently exceeding sales expectations and now selling properties off-plan that will not be built until 2015 and onwards. We expect the provision of Central Square and all of its amenities to attract even more buyers into the new community.”
