LEICHT Contracts expand KYOTO Collection

LEICHT Contracts, one of the UK’s leading providers of German engineered kitchen furniture to the new build and regeneration construction market introduce new additions to its sustainable KYOTO collection, now available in a range of architectural colours and real wood finishes in 2025.

From light oak to medium walnut through to custom RAL and NCS colours, and the iconic Les Couleurs® range developed by Le Corbusier, KYOTO is now offered in a series of original colour palettes, which are defined by the collection’s stylish 3D relief frame, elegantly integrated real wood handle, and Japanese craftsmanship. Delivering endless design possibilities for the premium property market, the latest additions to KYOTO provide a subtle or bold interplay of colour and structure to create living spaces, which are individual and creative.

Sarah Edwards, Managing Director UK at LEICHT Contracts says, “KYOTO by Leicht serves the interior design community with a modern planning concept, which is characterised by its Japanese craftsmanship and German innovation. Used to great effect, dual style furniture which translates in both traditional and contemporary environments like KYOTO have become highly sought after in today’s kitchen living space, as popularised interior design schemes, construction and design quality continue to influence homebuyers.”

Giving the power to effortlessly coordinate colour, material and structure, KYOTO can be used to create individual works of art within the kitchen living space; just like the block colour arrangement pictured above, where the peninsula island unit is designed in the same style of artwork by Piet Mondrian (Composition with Red, Blue and Yellow). Suitable for all unit widths available from LEICHT Contracts, each LES COULEURS® colour block can be designed in a uniform or irregular format, and the KYOTO 3D relief frame and integrated handle in light oak or walnut helps to provide contrast and give the illusion of depth on a flat surface.

The 2025 KYOTO Collection, available now from LEICHT Contracts includes:

REAL WOOD – Offering a unique blend of real wood veneer door fronts and high-structure profiles, the collection is available in oak and walnut to create a signature piece of furniture utilising KYOTO side panels, shelves, and horizontal solid wood handles. Offering a visual link to nature, all kitchen fronts are made of genuine wood veneer with vertical grain, which continues throughout the entire unit height and is sealed with environmentally friendly water-based acrylic resin lacquers for minimal upkeep.

LES COULEURS® – Developed by Les Corbusier, LEICHT is the first and only kitchen manufacturer to include Les Couleurs® in its portfolio, which means KYOTO is available in the following architectural colours:

BLUE (Bleu céruléen 31) Known for its soothing and expansive qualities, BLUE is deemed one of 2025’s most covetable colour trends, which is naturally associated with open spaces like the sea and sky to present a calming effect and sense of stillness.
GREY & BLACK (Gris foncé 31) Dubbed ‘iron grey’ by the design elite, soft and warming shades of GREY continue to evoke modernity in the contemporary home, with lighter shades of grey promoting calm and neutrality, and darker hues bringing a sense of sophistication and strength.
RED OCHRE & BROWN (L’ocre rouge) Reminiscent of the deep red shades found in ancient architecture, RED OCHRE & BROWN will consolidate any style of kitchen scheme, while creating a natural bridge between the homeowner and energy throughout the space.
GREEN (Vert anglais) A botanical colour option, GREEN introduces beautiful shades of the English countryside with hint of blue to present a visually quiet aesthetic in this year’s most popular trend colour!
UMBRA (Ombre naturelle 31) Regarded a shadow colour; UMBRA presents a neutral shade of grey with lilac undertones that allows surfaces to blend into the background and remain discreet in appearance.

BESPOKE – Available in a comprehensive range of custom RAL and NCS colours, luxury specifiers can choose from over 2,800 RAL shades and 2,000 NCS colours as standard, to create a truly bespoke interior space that is unique and 100% personal.
