With its combination of meaningful innovations and individual design (ID), Loewe’s all-new Connect ID range delivers a superbly stylish and incredibly smart ‘Smart TV’. The Connect ID is available with or without an integrated DR+ hard disk recorder, with three different screen sizes (32, 40 and 46-inch), 12 different colour combinations and 30 unique set-up options. That makes a total 2,160 Connect ID configurations from which customers may choose. The choice of Black, White, Silver, Beige, Green or Orange housing colours and High Gloss White or High Gloss Black frames allows the Connect ID to perfectly blend with any décor and match its owner’s lifestyle. The range is 3D-equipped, of course, with a host of outstanding features including excellent audio quality and extensive multimedia facilities, including Loewe’s own apps.
Convincing – right down to the last detail
The Connect ID is available in three different screen sizes: the mid-format 32-inch, the 40-inch and the big 46-inch screen for full-scale home cinema. Naturally, Loewe uses an LED panel with 200Hz technology for optimum image quality in all formats. In addition, with Loewe Active 3D glasses, three-dimensional content can be seen at its best. All formats feature HDTV tuners for DVB-T/C and DVB-S2, and an optional DVB-T2 tuner can also be integrated. A wide array of connectors, including two CI+ slots, three HDMI ports, of which one is with ARC, and two USB ports, gives the Connect ID optimum connectivity. The Connect ID can also be equipped with Loewe’s DR+ hard disk recorder upon request. This provides a total of 500GB of storage capacity, delivering fully integrated PVR functionality and a convenient way to record, store and share AV content.
Superb networking
LAN and WLAN are included as standard, and the Connect ID can also be easily integrated into home networks via Powerline. Classic Loewe smart TV functions, such as Loewe MediaHome, HbbTV via Loewe MediaText and access to Internet content via Loewe MediaNet, are therefore available at all times. The Connect ID also uses the award-winning Loewe DR+ Streaming FollowMe technology (winner of the 2011-2012 EISA Award) which makes it possible to stream recordings from the hard disk to other current Loewe televisions, or to transfer an already running programme from the Connect ID television to another home network connected Loewe TV. Last but not least, the Connect ID can be controlled via the Loewe Assist remote.
Sound in a class of it’s own
Loewe televisions are famed for delivering outstanding sound quality, and the Loewe Connect ID is no exception. The two speakers guarantee optimum voice reproduction and a well-balanced, powerful sound, while the 40-inch and 46-inch models add two down-firing woofers for a rich home cinema sound. High-efficiency D-class amplifiers and fully digital audio signal processing all the way from the aerial input to the 80 watts amplifier ensure the utmost in high fidelity. At the same time, multi-band automatic volume control (AVC) guarantees evenly balanced volume across a variety of sources and broadcasters. With an integrated AC3 decoder, the Loewe Connect ID is also enabled for Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 multi-channel audio, making it the perfect partner for a Loewe Sound System, such as the beautiful Loewe Home Cinema sets.
Always perfectly positioned
With its wide variety of set-up options, the Connect ID can be perfectly integrated into individual living environments, be they traditional, with the variable Table Stand Comfort, modern, with the fixed Table Stand Dynamic, or spacious, with the Table Stand Tableau. Further options include the Floor Stand Connect ID, with or without equipment board, and the Floor Stand Universal. The Connect ID can also be placed on one of the many Loewe racks, or hung on the wall using the Wall Mount. The rear panel comes prepared for the necessary Vesa brackets and also features an integrated Kensington lock – a practical detail that makes wall mounting incredibly simple. Those who love spectacular staging can mount their Connect ID either on the new Wall Stand Flex, which leans against the wall, or as a freestanding feature, with the Loewe Screen Lift Plus floor-to-ceiling fixture. The hidden cabling allows the minimalist design of the Connect ID to be admired from any perspective.
Energy efficient
The new Loewe Connect ID is also particularly energy-efficient. By integrating numerous functions (e.g. set-top box, external hard disk), energy and materials have been saved and the Loewe Connect ID is also nearly five kilogrammes lighter than its predecessor. Every kilo that does not have to be manufactured and transported contributes to improving the environmental impact. Typically for Loewe, the Connect ID can be completely disconnected from the mains at a touch of the integrated power switch. This ensures that the TV only uses electricity when it is actually required.
