Quality and satisfaction focus for Building for Tomorrow 2016 roadshows

Customer satisfaction and construction quality are among the key themes to be discussed by industry experts at this year’s NHBC Building for Tomorrow roadshows.

Now in their 25th year, the 2016 roadshows will focus on construction quality and customer satisfaction in a growth market. They will include talks from pre-eminent sector professionals on incremental innovation of prefabricated house-building components and an update on the building regulation changes that resulted from the Housing Standards Review.

With broadband and wireless connections one of the most important factors for new home buyers, the NHBC Foundation’s latest report The Connected Home, which provides guidance to designers and house-builders on what they need to do to make new homes ready for the future will also be featured at the roadshows.

Commenting on this year’s agenda, Nick Cunningham, NHBC Regional Director for the Southern Region, said: “With increasing house-building volumes, the pressure to maintain quality and consumer satisfaction grows for everybody within the sector. Building for Tomorrow 2016 is the ideal event to hear about the emerging techniques and technology to help the industry through this period.

“Building for Tomorrow is also the perfect platform to network with professionals from across the UK house-building sector and to showcase your latest products to industry leaders, home builders and housing associations.”
