Symphony leads the way

In kitchen design

Symphony, the UK’s leading fitted furniture manufacturer and number one kitchen supplier to UK communities, has launched 21 stunning new kitchen frontals, handles and accessories within its Koncept and Gallery brands, demonstrating that Symphony are the leading manufacturer when it comes to offering on-trend products in the market.

Throughout 2012, there has been a renewed growth in the popularity of neutral and earthy tones and in particular a rise in matt and painted finishes, alongside the continued demand for high gloss finishes. In response to the popularity of gloss kitchens Koncept by Symphony has introduced two new colour schemes under the Woodbury range – anthracite and plumwood.

Anthracite is a stunning gloss grey door which acts as an on-trend alternative to gloss black. Plumwood is a warm striking grain, which taps into the desire for gloss wood grain kitchens. When paired with either Woodbury White or Ivory, the new ranges provide a must-have contrast and cater to the consumer that prefers to have a unique and personalised look and feel to their kitchen design.

The newly launched Plaza range is also right on trend, available in three earthy tones – taupe, stone and mussel – with a natural matt woodgrain effect.

In the premium Gallery by Symphony range, the new Rockfort range embodies all of the latest trends and is available in an ivory shaker style. Rockfort paint-to-order is available in a further seven painted finishes from the earthy hues of stone, olive and taupe to the neutrals of mussel, black and chalk white.

Also making its debut in the Gallery range is Hacienda. Hacienda features a new avola pine finish in ivory, white ash or champagne, which taps into the market shift from white towards ivory as a softer neutral colour option, and can be co-ordinated with Plaza to achieve a distinctive design to the kitchen area.

Robert Newton, Building Division Marketing Manager at Symphony comments: “Consumers are now, more than ever, looking to personalise their kitchens and one way to do this quite simply, is by mixing textures and colours to create a bespoke look. The mix and match design aesthetic is very popular to developers, so suppliers need to offer a breadth of furniture options. To respond to this market demand, Symphony is focusing on the approach of combining two ranges within the same kitchen design, which provides house builders with the tools needed to create stylish mix and match kitchens.

“Another element of the increasingly design aware consumer is the changing use of the kitchen within the home from a functional space to a living area. This has contributed to the demand for more design-orientated products, with consumers demanding their kitchens become both a stylish living space and a functional cooking zone. Our new ranges from our Koncept and Gallery brands provide housebuilders with kitchen designs that meet the latest trends that consumers are looking for in a kitchen space.”
