Regional housebuilder Allison Homes South West has agreed its first partnership with registered provider, Legal & General Affordable Homes, to bring 155 homes to the village of Witheridge, North Devon. This follows the launch of the Allison Homes Partnerships Division last year which aims to deliver much needed affordable homes across the South West, ensuring as a company that it is building homes for customers in all aspects of the market – private, rented and affordable.
The homes at the Willow Heights development will be made up of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses, along with two- and three-bedroom detached bungalows. The split of the homes will be 50% (78 homes) shared ownership, 27% (42 homes) available as affordable rent, and 23% (35 homes) as social rent housing – catering to a diverse range of homebuyers and budgets.
In addition to the new much needed homes to the area, Allison Homes will be providing almost £750,000 in financial contributions to support the local NHS; primary and secondary education; parks, sports, and recreation (including allotments and children’s play spaces); and improving local highways (roads and pavements).
Allison Homes is proud to announce that it will also donate £100 for each affordable home built to a chosen local charity creating an additional £15,500 in donations to support local causes and make a long-lasting difference to the local community.

Willow Heights is well placed to benefit from the wide range of amenities that Witheridge has to offer. These include an OFSTED-rated ‘good’ primary school, post office and doctor’s surgery as well as a village pub and social clubs.
Situated on the doorstep of both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, the picturesque village also has stunning views of the Devon countryside.
