Gaia turns up the heat across Taylor Wimpey development

Gaia, a provider of innovative heating solutions, has joined forces with Taylor Wimpey to introduce groundbreaking heating technology to their latest residential development in Barham, Suffolk. The development, comprising 257 high-quality homes nestled amidst green open spaces, is set to redefine modern living with sustainable and efficient heating solutions.

In response to evolving regulations that render gas boilers unsuitable for future homes, Taylor Wimpey took the initiative to incorporate air source heat pumps in their new residential build. Recognising the opportunity to enhance energy efficiency further, Gaia, headquartered locally, reached out to offer their expertise in designing and installing wet underfloor heating systems to complement the air source heat pumps.

The integration of wet underfloor heating with air source heat pumps offers unparalleled efficiency and comfort, setting a new standard in residential heating solutions. Gaia’s expert team has meticulously designed the underfloor heating systems for the ground floors of all 257 houses, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

As the project progresses, Gaia will continue to supply, install, and commission the heating systems for additional plots in alignment with the development schedule. The collaboration between Gaia and Taylor Wimpey exemplifies a shared dedication to innovation, sustainability, and superior quality.

“Gaia is turning up the heat on-site! Their cutting-edge underfloor heating installation is perfect for these residential new-builds,” remarked a spokesperson from Bateman Groundworks, emphasising the industry-wide recognition of Gaia’s contribution to the project.

Gaia remains committed to driving positive change in residential heating solutions, empowering homeowners with sustainable and efficient technologies that prioritise both comfort and environmental responsibility.
