Designer Contracts

It is a well known fact within the New Homes industry that Designer Contracts is the market leader in contract flooring. However it is the Showhome Design Division of Designer Contracts which is rapidly proving to be the one to watch.

Headed by Suzanne Kerley, Designer Contracts have built a reputation as a dynamic company who can use their extensive buying power to provide a 5 star service whilst maintaining the economic awareness that is crucial in today’s market place. As well as the financial strength provided by the flooring division, Designer Contracts have implemented many facilities including Cameo, their in-house soft furnishings department, which produce handmade bespoke window treatments, bedding and cushions to ensure that even the most specific brief
can be met without compromise.

“We consider that the most important factor in successful design is to understand the target market and to provide a personal service from initial consultation to handover,” Suzanne tells Your Showhome Magazine “We meet with the customer to discuss their likes and dislikes, most importantly discussing the customer profile for the proposed location of the development from which they take the brief and then
the consultation process continues when the Sales Manager returns to the design studio. This continued involvement ensures that even the smallest detail is taken into account when the finished design is presented”.

The Showhome Design Division within Designer Contracts has actually been operating since 1992 but it is in the last 12 months with the promotion of Suzanne Kerley to head up the department that they have really started to impose their presence on the new homes industry. An internal restructure of the department has enabled the team to operate to a standard more commonly associated with specialist design
companies with decades of experience.

Their competence and ever improving reputation has seen sales increase by over 80% in the last 12 months alone. “I recognised the importance that this department has to our overall business in not just its commercial capability but also having the facility to offer our existing flooring customers a more complete package” said Peter Kelsey, Managing Director of Designer Contracts “I know that this will continue to be an important and growing part of our business and that we will continue to give the focus on exceptional service and value that we are famous for.” All in all, Designer Contracts remain the one to watch in the contract flooring industry and their commitment to the expansion of the Showhome Design Division shows that they are not resting on their laurels.

With offices located throughout the United Kingdom, the purchasing power gained from their mighty flooring division and the ever expanding
in-house facilities, they will soon be associated just as much for their Showhome design. 01246 857944 [email protected]
