Grant Westfield has launched a new online Installer Training programme designed to help installers develop product knowledge, improve fitting techniques and achieve professional installation standards.
The training provides practical guidance through short video modules that can be accessed on demand, allowing installers to develop their skills around existing work commitments.
Training covers complete installation process
The Core Installer Training programme comprises 15 videos covering preparation, installation techniques, profiles, trims and accessories.
Modules also address practical fitting scenarios involving baths, shower cubicles, niches, windows and doors.
Additional guidance covers Hydrolock, Naturepanel, flooring and maintenance, alongside installation tips and techniques.
The videos were filmed at Festool’s UK headquarters in Bury St Edmunds, following a strategic partnership between the two companies.
Flexible learning and personalised resources
The digital platform allows installers to complete training at their own pace and revisit modules when required.
Each video includes a knowledge check, while additional product guidance and installation advice will be introduced over time.
Personalised dashboards also provide training resources for partners, homeowners, internal staff and the architecture and design community.
Certification and installer benefits
Installers completing the core programme receive an Installer Training Certificate, with eligible participants also earning Grant Westfield and Installer Elite loyalty points.
Participants can register for the company’s Find an Installer service, providing free promotional listings across Grant Westfield, Multipanel and Naturepanel websites.
Existing Installer Elite users can access training through single sign on, while new participants can register online.
Further training modules planned
Elliott Fairlie, Product and Marketing Director at Grant Westfield, said: “We know installers want training that is practical, straightforward and relevant to the situations they encounter every day.
“Installer Training brings that know-how together in an easy-to-access format, helping installers build confidence in our products, avoid common installation issues and achieve a great finish first time.
“Importantly, this isn’t a one-off initiative; we’ll continue to develop the programme with new guidance and training to support installers over the long term.”
The platform also includes installation guides, brochures and personalised event calendars.
Further modules are planned for individual product collections, including the forthcoming Laura Ashley Wall Panel Collection.
