Lutron will showcase its intelligent lighting, shading and control solutions across three installations at Decorex 2026, taking place from 11 to 14 October at Olympia London.

The displays will explore how integrated lighting can influence atmosphere, highlight interior materials and support residential design.

Intelligent lighting transforms Beach House

Lutron is collaborating with home technology integrator Homeplay and Hill House Interiors on The Beach House, an immersive installation at Stand L50.

The experience recreates a complete day of natural light in three minutes, transitioning from sunrise through midday to sunset.

Lutron’s Ketra lighting technology provides full spectrum illumination, adjusting colour temperature and intensity throughout the demonstration.

The system can dim to 0.1%, allowing designers to explore subtle lighting effects that complement interior finishes and textures.

Sustainable lighting and shading solutions

Lutron will also feature within the Sustainability Space, designed by interiors specialist Kate Watson-Smyth.

Its Intelligent Lighting and Palladiom shading systems will form part of a residential setting hosting discussions about sustainable interior design.

Craig Turner of Lutron will contribute to the programme, examining how lighting can support more sustainable homes.

Lighting design for luxury interiors

The third installation is the VIP Lounge, designed by Claudia Dorsch.

Entitled Back to the Future, The Chalet Reimagined, the space draws inspiration from European alpine interiors and 1970s ski culture.

Lutron’s lighting controls will highlight materials including timber, metal, onyx and textiles.

Architectural lighting will be supplied by Lutron’s Orluna brand, including Cloud Integrated and Cloud Rod fittings manufactured in custom colours.

The VIP Lounge will be accessible to VIP ticket holders throughout the exhibition.

Together, the installations will demonstrate how lighting technology can be incorporated into residential interiors while maintaining the intended design aesthetic.

Javier Segovia, Vice President – Sales and Services, UK & Europe at Lutron, said: “Lutron’s lighting, controls and shading work together to create a space that feels intuitive, luxurious and in tune with the natural rhythm of the day.

“Working with Homeplay, we showcase how light emotionally connects us to our interior while remaining virtually invisible.”
