Foyne Jones, recruiter of choice for the KBB, Builder’s Merchants & Construction Supplies sector is delighted to raise the bar and continue to enhance its service levels with the appointment of its newest Recruitment Resourcer, Jodi Gormley.

“We love bringing more people into our business so we can continue to deliver custom-made services to our clients. I am determined to deliver the very best tailor-made packages to the industry by ripping up the recruitment rulebook and leaning into the challenges and opportunities of the digital age. Jodi’s positive mindset and determination to deliver excellent service means she is going to smash it in her new role” says Peter Jones, Founder & Managing Director at Foyne Jones Recruitment Group.

Jodi joins the team at Foyne Jones following 17 years at Howdens, the UK’s number 1 trade kitchen supplier, where she progressed from working the counter to kitchen sales designer; living proof that the KBB industry is rich in transferable skills and fundamentally, a people-driven market.

Sussex-born and bred, Jodi has a wealth of knowledge in how the kitchen market has evolved over the past two decades, as well as a unique understanding of how versatile today’s designers and sales teams need to be when converting sales and retaining clients. As a top-ranking kitchen sales designer, she managed high volume private and contract projects with individual sales of over £1.1 million, bringing commercial and creative skills to complement the Foyne Jones team.

Alongside her industry expertise in design, hardware, furniture and customer service, Jodi has advanced listening skills and a strong interest in personal and professional development so clients of Foyne Jones will undoubtedly reap the benefits for the long-term. She has also taken a career break, returning to Howdens as a working parent so she is well-placed to support candidates who are returning to the workplace and keen to explore flexible working for a healthy work-life balance.

Jodi Gormley, newly-appointed Recruitment Resourcer at Foyne Jones says, “My time at Howdens gave me a huge passion for all things kitchen and I am really delighted that I can continue my love affair with the industry with helping others to find the job of their dreams. I nearly didn’t call Peter Jones about the vacancy, and I nearly didn’t turn up for the second interview, but I’m so glad I did as I didn’t let the fear of change get the better of it or control my life decisions. I completely understand that job hunting and leaving an established role can be challenging for job seekers, because it was for me! What helped me was creating a list of what I really wanted, so I set my intentions. Whenever I had a wobble and nearly didn’t go forwards, I looked at my list and now, I am very happy with Foyne Jones and Snoop and Heidi our friendly office dogs.”

Holly Spring, Brand Director at Foyne Jones comments, “It is fantastic to have Jodi with us so that we can offer even more customised support to our job seekers with everything from CV makeovers and LinkedIn strategies to interview strategies. As video interviews and Zoom meetings become part of the recruitment mix alongside the traditional face-to-face touchpoint, we are eager to go the extra mile when it comes to helping candidates to be their best selves when they meet the client. We believe that confidence is a key part of showing up in a positive and inspiring way, so we help every candidate to feel good about what they bring to the table. So many decisions are made on the ‘know, like and trust factor’ which Jodi completely understands. Her courage to put herself first and choose a new adventure with us is something which will resonate with our job seekers, so I am delighted that she has joined our family.”

Jodi is immersing herself in the world of Foyne Jones and is thrilled to welcome job seekers into the next step of their career change over the phone and via email. With so many exclusive roles available via the Foyne Jones network, she is looking forward to expanding her knowledge of bathrooms and the building and renovating trade. Alongside her fellow Recruitment Resourcer, Taylah Jenkins, Jodi is also sourcing the right candidates for Foyne Jones clients for the perfect match of skills and personality with opportunity and values.
