Housebuilders are constantly looking at ways to add value, create differentiation and bring genuine ‘wow’ factor to their developments.
Intelligent lighting control can help deliver these benefits, and no company is more creative and impressive with the range of solutions it offers than Philips Dynalite, available exclusively in the UK through award winning distributor, AWE Europe.
Philips Dynalite provide high quality lighting control systems, capable of creating stunning effects at the touch of a button which can prove especially eye-catching in the showhome for particular developments.
A Dynalite lighting control system is also more energy efficient for a scheme than using standard on/off switching, dimmers or even most other alternative systems. In fact, a sophisticated lighting control system can provide significant cost savings. Systems can be linked to a variety of different control options to suit any setting, ensuring that energy is not consumed unnecessarily, while providing the user with complete flexibility and control over their environment. For example, a common application is to introduce a ‘goodbye’ setting which turns everything off when you leave the house, thereby ensuring that no energy is unnecessarily consumed. In addition, Dynalite utilises Philips extensive lighting knowledge to ensure full compatibility with highly efficient LED lighting technologies.
Supplied by AWE for installation through the its Dimension dealer network, the Philips Dynalite range includes options for low energy LED DMX 1-10v and Dali lighting systems. LED is a fast growing solution for residential developments which, when combined with a Dynalite system, can help deliver impressive energy savings in the home. The use of light harvesting with Dynalite control is well proven in commercial buildings and can also be scaled to help increase a home’s energy efficiency by cutting lighting and HVAC energy consumption.
Philips Dynalite offers a comprehensive range of controllers, keypads and network interfacing components that bring developers advanced levels of lighting control for their scheme and offer improved energy management as well for the homeowner. These systems can also be seamlessly integrated with third-party control systems in a fully automated, smart home set up.
A Philips Dynalite lighting control system can also create the perfect ambience for each and every room in a property and incorporates full compatibility with energy efficient LED lighting. Pre-programmed scenes can enhance an imaginative lighting design, providing focus, warmth and mood to suit different times of day, uses and ambience requirements. Easy to use customisable keypads can be controlled instinctively, even by homeowners who are unfamiliar with the technology.
Lighting control is the foundation of any automated smart home system. It is the logical backbone off which to connect other systems and devices and create a seamlessly integrated system. This encompasses more than just automated lighting with homeowners being able to operate the heating, security, blinds and home entertainment through the same system. In fact, just about anything that can be turned ‘on’ or ‘off’ can be controlled by Dynalite.
The power lies in the inter-operability of Dynalite. Essentially, that means how easy it is for Dynalite equipment to talk to other equipment. Unlike other companies, we offer a true ‘open protocol’ which means that the developer is not limited to the extensive range of Dynalite user interfaces. User control panels, touch screens, personal digital assistants (PDAs) or even personal computers (PCs) can be used to control the Dynalite system and, ultimately, your home.
With the wide range of available Dynalite control panel options, housebuilders need look no further. Everything from lighting to blinds and climate control is managed from the same point, providing uncomplicated yet powerful functionality over the entire house…at the push of a single button.
Philips Dynalite lighting control is extremely easy to use with stylish high quality user controls panels which can be custom engraved. New products including LED touch panels and a forthcoming Apple iPad / iPhone app control interface are scheduled for launch early this year.
