Whether you’re planning to add extend, remodel the internal layout or create a stunning new kitchen overlooking a landscaped garden, The Northern Homebuilding & Renovating Show will provide visitors the opportunity to discover the limitless possibilities a home has to offer. Head along to learn new skills and tips on how to combine functional with cutting-edge design before starting to plan your perfect home.

Oakwrights, an award winning company that designs and builds oak framed homes and buildings, will be offering a design consultation service with members of its architectural team. Head over to find out how to add that professional touch to your property and learn all about the potential of oak framing and encapsulation – it could work wonders with your self-build project!

Take your renovation plans to the next level by attending the eight free daily seminars hosted by Homebuilding and Renovating magazine experts to set you on the path to achieving outstanding results. Visitors will be inundated with vital information from sustainable homebuilding, finance, to interior design ideas that will complete your project.

Listen in on 36 free specialist masterclasses for insider tips from real professionals and technical experts and exhibitors. Discuss the plans and design of your project with qualified members of The Royal Institute of British Architects, hosts of the Ask the Architects zone. Discover how to maximise space, create extra storage and introduce eco efficient measures to save you money and add value to your home.

Find out what makes a successful planning permission application by consulting Sally Tagg and her team, Foxley Tagg, at The Planning Clinic. If you’re in the process of a planning application or have previously had one refused, reserve a session with the experts who can guide you through the standard procedures and keep you updated on the latest permitted planning rules and regulations.

For fresh ideas, solutions and professional advice attend the Ask the experts one-on-one sessions. Book your meeting on arrival and for 15 minutes you will have the chance to discuss and review your project with one of the Homebuilding and Renovating magazine experts.
