Mr and Mrs Dibbs moved from the New Forest to their bespoke property right in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Chatting over coffee in the stylish kitchen Mr and Mrs Dibbs are both thrilled with their new surroundings and the care and attention they have received from David Hughes, owner of Highland Ltd.
Mr Dibbs said ‘We can’t speak highly enough of David, he has taken the stress out of moving, everything was made as easy as possible.
‘Mrs Dibbs said they were first attracted to the development when they were in Suffolk visiting family. ‘We drove past the site and were intrigued by what was being built there so we requested a brochure. The brochure really wowed us and from there we were hooked!’
By engaging with purchasers at the very beginning, these homes can be customised to the purchasers exacting specifications, but with the Highland standard apparent throughout.
The house has been finished to The Dibbs specification; a large kitchen island was added to the plans and a specific brand of oven was installed which had been requested.
Mrs Dibbs’ said ‘When we moved in Highland had thought of everything to make the move as smooth as possible, little things like letting us put our empty boxes and packing materials in the site skip and providing a bag of salt as it was icy when we moved in all made it that much easier. David’s wife has also been on hand to help with some of the interior aspects, helping with samples, suggesting colours and fabrics. Having the site staff around has also been great to help with any small snagging details.
‘We’ve named our house Greenaway – the site is a former bowling green so we wanted to keep Green in the name.’
The Dibbs are settling in to Suffolk life, they are looking forward to getting out on their bikes into the Suffolk countryside, they are also taking full advantage of the shops and facilities in Bury St Edmunds, Norwich and Ipswich – especially the new John Lewis at Futura Park, Ipswich. Closer to home they are enjoying the wealth of independent stores on their doorstep and they are looking forward to new next stage of the development which
includes an on-site beauty salon, coffee shop and soon-to-be fine dining experience – the likes of which Debenham will not have seen before!
