Bellway has appointed a new sales manager for its East Midlands division.
Matt Newman, 33, joined the company in May as a senior sales advisor and was quick to impress.
He now becomes the third Bellway sales manager for the region, joining Jane Yolland and Carolyne Watkinson.
Between them they look after more than 20 sites stretching from north Derbyshire to Sawtry near Huntingdon. This is the highest number of live sites the division has ever had and with sales booming, there are further plans to expand.
Matt will manage sites in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
He said: “I am thoroughly enjoying getting to grips with my new role. It is very different to on-site sales and there will be plenty of new challenges, but the support offered by Bellway is invaluable.”
Matt was previously based at The Lodge, a gated development in Leicester Forest East.
Sales Director for Bellway East Midlands, Ben Smith, said: “I am delighted to welcome Matt to the management team.
“His arrival brought new impetus to The Lodge and the site has gone from strength to strength under his guidance. Last month he sold three houses in one weekend, so he really is leading by example.

Matt has worked in the new homes industry for three years. He previously worked in retail and manufacturing.
