Caesarstone UK and Ireland has announced a major investment in its mainland UK operation. This announcement signals their confidence in the long-term future of the UK market with significant expansion across logistics, customer experience and brand engagement.
The investment includes the relocation of its UK distribution centre to a purpose-built facility in Lutterworth, together with plans to expand its showroom footprint to better support kitchen retailers, fabricators, architects, designers and housebuilders.
The move to Lutterworth will deliver a 50% increase in UK stockholding while providing faster, more efficient nationwide distribution from the heart of Britain’s logistics “golden triangle”. The additional capacity will strengthen product availability, improve service levels and support continued growth across Caesarstone’s premium surface portfolio.
Expanding customer experience
Caesarstone will create a new Brand Experience Centre within the Lutterworth facility, complementing its existing Dublin showroom. The business is also progressing plans for a dedicated southern showroom. This is targeted to open during 2027, subject to final site selection and development. Together, these locations will create a network of customer-facing spaces designed to offer design consultation, product specification support, training and inspiration for every sector of the market.
The announcement comes as Caesarstone prepares to celebrate ten years of its UK and Ireland operation this October. The anniversary marks a decade of sustained investment and growth while laying the foundations for the company’s next phase of expansion.
Edward Smith, Managing Director of Caesarstone UK and Ireland, said, “This investment demonstrates our confidence in the UK market and our commitment to the customers and partners we serve every day. We’re building the infrastructure to support the next decade of growth by increasing our UK stockholding by up to 50%. It improves our national distribution capability and creates even better environments for collaboration, specification and customer support.
“Our customers increasingly want more than simply viewing materials. They want expertise, inspiration and informed consultation. That’s the thinking behind our Brand Experience Centres, which are being designed to bring together product innovation, design support, training and technical knowledge in spaces that add real value for kitchen retailers, fabricators, architects, designers and housebuilders alike.”
The investment follows a period of significant transformation for the business. Over the past two years, Caesarstone UK has introduced a new pricing structure, strengthened its transport infrastructure, expanded its porcelain offering and accelerated the rollout of its innovative ICON range. All have been with the aim of improving customer service while making the brand more accessible across the market.
Responding to an evolving market
The announcement also comes at a pivotal moment for the engineered surfaces industry. As regulation, specification requirements and customer expectations continue to evolve, the importance of trusted manufacturing partners with proven product performance, transparent documentation and resilient supply chains has never been greater.
Smith added, “Our tenth anniversary gives us an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come. More importantly, it allows us to demonstrate where we’re going. This investment isn’t simply about larger buildings. Instead, it’s about creating a stronger Caesarstone for our customers and reinforcing our long-term commitment to the UK market.
“In 2027, Caesarstone will celebrate 40 years since pioneering the engineered stone category. Few brands can draw on that level of expertise. As ICON becomes the default surface choice for more projects, we’re investing to ensure our service, availability and customer experience are every bit as market-leading as the products themselves.”
Introduced to the UK in 2024, Caesarstone ICON represents the company’s next generation of engineered surfaces. Manufactured using a patent-pending formulation containing approximately 85% recycled materials, ICON is crystalline silica-free and has been widely adopted across retail, commercial and residential specification as the industry responds to changing expectations around material innovation, sustainability and workplace safety.
