Urban Cooling Solutions provides specialist HVAC technology for challenging residential projects, combining discreet design, flexible installation and climate control performance.

Urban Cooling Solutions has developed a specialist HVAC portfolio for residential properties where conventional climate control systems can be difficult to specify or install. Designed around challenging planning, acoustic and architectural requirements, its products provide cooling and heating options for premium developments, heritage buildings, high rise properties and complex homes.

With more than 3,000 installations completed across London, the range reflects experience gained in real residential settings, where specification must balance performance, appearance, planning restrictions, noise requirements and practical installation considerations.

Incognito

At the centre of the range are Incognito and Incognito Plus, systems developed by Urban Cooling owners and inventors Mark and Tony. Drawing on Tony’s engineering background and decades of practical experience, the products have been created for projects where external plant may be restricted, noise limits are tight or visual impact must be kept to a minimum.

Incognito is an architectural external coil solution designed to provide effective climate control while responding to the aesthetic requirements of residential projects. The system can be installed in locations including balconies, terraces and lightwells, giving developers and specifiers an alternative when conventional external equipment is unsuitable.

Its discreet approach makes Incognito particularly relevant for architecturally sensitive properties, where the appearance and positioning of building services can influence both planning decisions and the finished design.

Incognito Plus

Incognito Plus extends the concept by combining air conditioning, heating and domestic hot water within a single three in one system. This gives developers, architects, MEP specialists and homeowners a more integrated option for managing several residential comfort requirements.

The system has been developed to address demanding project conditions while supporting the need for efficient, regulation compliant climate control. It is particularly suited to schemes where available space, external equipment and acoustic performance require careful consideration.

Solutions for restricted properties

The wider Urban Cooling portfolio includes water cooled systems, which operate fully internally and can provide a practical option for listed buildings and other properties where external plant is restricted.

Mini Discreet provides an internal air source solution developed to help projects address Part O requirements. Urban Cooling can also provide conventional ducted and wall mounted systems where these are appropriate for the property.

Specialist installation support

Urban Cooling’s FGAS certified installation teams receive direct product training and development from Mark and Tony. Their experience spans the Incognito range, water cooled technology, Mini Discreet systems and conventional HVAC installations.

The company also supports clients through technical specification, installation logistics, project coordination and CPD training. This combination of specialist products and practical engineering expertise enables Urban Cooling Solutions to provide climate control options tailored to demanding residential environments, from new developments and high rise buildings to listed properties, retirement villages and large manor houses.
