Hamworthy Heating has launched its new Modumax mk4 floor standing boiler. Building on the success of its bestselling range, the latest generation features a modern, intuitive design with flexible connections and pipework kits. This makes it an efficient and flexible solution for a wide range of commercial buildings.
Featuring a new asymmetrical configuration and a clear digital touchscreen for easy navigation, Modumax mk4 boilers offer simple operation, while improved access to key components speeds up servicing and on-site installation. Models also include a Modbus communications module for seamless integration with building management systems. It also includes a VFC remote signal kit supplied as standard to support efficient setup and optimisation.
Compact design
Modumax mk4 boilers feature a compact and lightweight design to help simplify installation. The compact modules fit through a standard doorway, while their split design makes them easier to handle in basement or rooftop plantrooms. Meanwhile, a reduced flue height supports installation in height restricted areas. To save space, installers can stack modules two or three high in up to 15 combinations, delivering up to 762 kW from less than one square metre of floor space.
For added convenience, the range is available with six pipework kits, complete with pumps. Installers can pair the pipework kits with a selection of Hamworthy Heating low loss headers to simplify primary circuit design. The boilers also support both natural gas and LPG.
Incorporating stainless steel heat exchanger technology and backed by a 10-year warranty, Modumax mk4 floor standing boilers are available in five models with outputs from 97 to 254 kW (50/30 °C). Delivering a 5:1 turndown ratio, low Class 6 NOx emissions across all models and up to 95% gross seasonal efficiency, the range combines durability with outstanding efficiency.
