Bellway North East has carried out a full renovation of its Bellway House head office in Gateshead, including creating a wellbeing space for staff.
The homebuilder has invested in major improvements to the HQ in Kings Park at Kingsway North, creating an open-plan office over two floors with the addition of three new meeting rooms and the new wellbeing area.
The work also included the refurbishment of the boardroom and reception area.
The creation of the wellbeing space is part of Bellway’s wider focus on mental health, with approximately 10 per cent of the company’s employees nationally now trained as Mental Health First Aiders. The company also has a dedicated mental health wellbeing hub on its internal communications platform, which has useful resources on Bellway’s mental health awareness programmes and signposting to external support and resources for those who need help.

Bellway North East is building new homes at developments across Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and County Durham.
