Innovation across every detail

Dave Mayer, UK Commercial Director at Reginox discusses how innovation, durability and evolving consumer demand are shaping the company’s expanding range of sinks, taps and kitchen solutions for the modern home.

The current Reginox UK product range extends to over 150 sinks in various sizes. This includes 56 taps, including 4-in-1 and 3-in-1 hot water models, waste disposals, accessories, and other peripheral products sold via an extensive network of strong trading partnerships that support a brand-based offering for high quality suppliers and builders.

Much more than just stainless steel

Reginox first came to prominence through the quality and innovation of its stainless-steel sinks which accounts for almost half of their UK sales.

Dave Mayer comments, “Our parent company, Reginox Holland, is a pioneer of manufacturing techniques that have come to set sink industry standards, paving the way for our revolutionary, market-leading collection of coloured stainless-steel sinks, which are the result of years of research and development, and that really enhances our traditional stainless-steel range.”

The coloured coating on their products is achieved using physical vapour deposition (PVD), a technique which is used to deposit thin films, one molecule at a time, onto the steel surface to create a hard, durable surface.

PVD coloured stainless steelis also scratch resistant which is ideal for high traffic and heavy-use areas. It is often sought after as the tough finish is about 10 times harder than the stainless steel itself, guaranteeing longevity for busy households.

Dave shares, “In recent times, we’ve added some new colours to the NEW YORK PVD range, which now includes Gun Metal II, Copper II or Gold II. Any one of them gives a kitchen a unique and luxurious look. They are available in multiple sizes, including a 18×40, 34×40, 40×40, 50×40 and 34×40+18×40 sink.”

This is also offered in a slim version which measures 40×40 and 50×40. They are available with narrow rims making them particularly well-suited to stone worktops, by protecting the edges of the worktop recess.

“These fit nicely alongside our already established MIAMI PVD range with colour matching taps and wastes. There are three colours: copper, gold and gunmetal. All the models can be integrated, semi-integrated or undermounted for total flexibility when it comes to fitting methods,” adds Dave.

Stainless steel, whether it is traditional or coloured, is complemented by their well-established range of granite composites. Manufactured by a recognised Italian sink company, the range has undergone a full re-branding and now proudly displays the Reginox name on every model.

The thermal shock-resistance helps the granite sinks withstand changes in temperature to avoid cracks, discolouration or weakening overtime. They are also benefiting from UV protection, which helps to combat fading caused by strong sunlight.

This range was updated in with the modification of the BEST range in three sizes. Reginox have created this change with the following sizes: the double bowl BEST 20, a single bowl and drainer BEST 10, and bowl and half with drainer, BEST 15, which is available in Synteq material in black, white and light grey.

Dave Mayer explains that this was joined by their entry level model, known as the EASY range. It comes in two sizes, a single bowl with drainer, EASY 10 and bowl and a half with drainer EASY 15 which is available in black, titanium and white in the Alteq material.

Among these updates, Reginox also added two new traditional stainless-steel sinks in 2025. The ENVOY and SENATOR were introduced with both coming in a single bowl with drainer and bowl-and-a-half with drainer options, both targeted specifically at the contract sector.

Style and innovation on tap

Consumer demand means specialist taps are very much on-trend and no longer an optional extra as builders and specifiers try hard to up their game. Dave explains how their 3-in-1 taps are currently the biggest sellers in their specialist tap range, however he can see that sales of 4-in-1 and even 5-in-1 hot water taps are growing in the market.

“We have a new model coming to market later this year, which I can’t say any more about at this stage. However, our very latest hot water tap is the AQUABEZI, a 4-in-1 hot water tap which we introduced just last year,” says Dave.

The AQUABEZI has a flexible, pull-out hose which makes it a sleek and stylish addition to their specialist tap range. It uses a child lock spring action handle to dispense hot water instantly, as well as a three-way mixer lever for normal hot and cold water with filtered cold water. The AQUABEZI is available in chrome or brushed nickel with a black hose, or in an all-black option.

“All of our 4-in-1 and 3-in-1 taps supply standard hot and cold water instantly while hot water is dispensed via a child-safe spring locked handle. However, the AQUADZI model uses touch technology. The hot water runs through the centre of the taps to keep them cool for a completely safe flow from the swivel spout,” says Dave.

He explains how all of their hot specialist hot water taps come with the latest 3L tank technology with adjustable temperatures from 75 to 98 degrees and anti-scale filters. These features fulfil consumer demand fuelled by the desire to save worktop space and money on energy bills by opting for instant hot water instead of turning the kettle on.

The AQUABEZI joins its 4-in-1 stablemate the AQUADZI chrome, which uses touch control technology for instant hot water. The AQUADZI lines up with the 3-in-1 swan-necked ATTENZI, which comes in chrome or brushed nickel; the u-necked TRIBEZI in chrome, brushed nickel and matt black, and the swan-neck VECHI ll, which combines ceramic handles with a stylish chrome finish.

Keeping it traditional

“Hot water taps make up about a third of our range, and while that’s consistently growing with consumer demand, the remainder of our taps range provides something for every type of kitchen from modern to traditional, in a host of unique finishes and colours,” explains Dave.

“Our range encompasses everything – standard mixer taps, tall mixer taps, pull out spray mixer taps and even bridge mixer taps, catering for tastes ranging from normal to the utterly unique.”

The finishes available for their taps include chrome, brushed steel, black, gunmetal, copper and even gold, and even some benefitting from a mixture of two.

The kitchen sink and tap need to be a perfect combination of being well made, durable, stylish, practical all while representing excellent value.

Dave Mayer adds, “And at the risk of founding like a stuck record, any developer, contractor or specifier, who doesn’t take heed of the importance of sinks and taps, run the risk of losing out on what house buyers demand.”

Completing the Reginox package

Dave explains, “Our impressive waste disposal units are an excellent way to create the complete Reginox package.

“For example, an up-to-the-minute package of style and practicality would be to combine the polished stainless-steel SENATOR sink, with the very latest AQUABEZI 4-in-1 hot water tap in a chrome finish, then build in our RD 100i A/S waste disposal unit which is capable of grinding all food waste items, including stones, peel and bones. This is both for convenience and improved hygiene.”

All of Reginox’s waste disposal units feature stainless steel grinding components with a lifetime corrosion warranty. They feature Bio Shield Antimicrobial coating on all grinding components, and splash guards to stop bacteria in its tracks. They can be fitted with no tools for sink mounting which makes them an easy disposer to install.

“We have a maintenance-free model to meet every specification from 0.5HP to 0.75HP with a balanced turntable and armature shaft to reduce noise and vibration,” adds Dave.

More about Reginox

Reginox has built their success through strong commercial management, a willingness to be flexible in meeting customers’ needs and its parent company’s commitment to ongoing investment in advanced manufacturing techniques. These commitments puts their products at the cutting edge, of not just the market, but of a home in itself.

Dave says, “All kinds of activities involve the kitchen sink and tap, and we hope to capture some of those moments in our 2026 concept, ‘Reginox for life, creating memories together’.

“It highlights the role of the kitchen sink, and tap, in and among some of life’s key milestones, but the Reginox for life tagline is also a nod to the fact that our stainless-steel sinks come with a lifetime warranty.

We’ve chosen a sink from our NEW YORK range, the NEW YORK 50×40 single bowl with a fixed flange, as the one to spearhead the concept, which places the sink and tap among the unfolding life story of a family and its home as this year, and the years in the advertisement as shown on the clock on the wall, progress.”
