Dimplex, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of heat pumps, ambient loops, electrical heating and ventilation solutions, has appointed Mark Burton as Head of Renewables.
In his new role, Mark will be responsible for the expansion of the renewables team to offer support to housebuilding specification teams across the UK. He will also further develop Dimplex’s range of heat pumps and oversee the launch of new products to help grow the company’s market share.
Mark joins Dimplex from Vaillant Group, where he worked as the company’s Renewables Business Manager, followed by a tenure as National Partnership Manager. He was responsible for transitioning some of the UK’s biggest supermarkets to heat pump technologies and has also worked with social housing providers to help alleviate fuel poverty.
He helped design and commission heat pump systems for hard to heat and properties on projects for the Chatsworth Estate, Welbeck Estates and the National Trust.
