Global construction equipment manufacturer, Terex, welcomed industry professionals from across the globe to the West Midlands earlier this month, for its international distributor conference. The specialist machinery convention, which took place at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, saw international delegates meet together and discuss the latest market developments.
As well as attending presentations and breakout sessions to discuss opportunities and the company’s new plans to support the distributor network, delegates had the opportunity to trial the latest range of Terex equipment and find out about the Coventry facility’s development plans for 2014.
From product demonstrations that highlighted the new features and benefits of the upgraded range of site dumpers, rollers and backhoe loaders, through to a tour of the manufacturing facility, the conference gave an in-depth insight into product developments and how Terex is responding to user challenges with new and improved equipment design.
“With a tight-knit network of equipment distributors across Europe and beyond, events such as our international conference are a valuable forum to exchange ideas and to communicate our exciting plans for both the distributor network and the product portfolio that we manufacture in Coventry,” commented Neal Nowick, general manager of Terex Coventry.
“Alongside training courses and industry discussions, this year’s conference gave delegates an opportunity to try our latest range of 2014 equipment, including the Terex TLB990; our top of the range backhoe loader, which was launched globally earlier this month.
