Reflecting Premdor’s commitment to excellence, the new ranges are flawlessly presented in White Oak for internal doors and Oak or Meranti veneers for external doors. FSC Meranti is sourced from a controlled environment with logs dried on site using computerised kilns for vastly improved moisture control.
To satisfy every requirement and aspiration, the range comprises over 15 design options for external doors and over eighteen internal design styles incorporating some of the most innovative contemporary design styles, as well as traditional design profiles across both ranges. Also common to both internal and external ranges is the use of supreme quality materials, manufactured to the highest specifications.
Within the collection are a variety of glazed doors allowing the opportunity to enhance darker rooms, bringing natural light into the home. Certified fire doors and fully finished internal door options give even more width and choice to this all embracing collection.
All finished doors utilise a computerised finishing line with the resultant top coat being extremely hard wearing with a silk smooth finish similar to furniture manufacture.
The Premium Door Collection embraces every popular size to suit most requirements with metric and imperial sizing available on selected ranges. With deep stockholding of all options, held in Premdor’s Yorkshire headquarters/distribution centre, all are available for immediate delivery. The internal door range is manufactured using traditional stile and rail construction, dowel jointed or one piece slab construction with no joints for maximum strength.
Unfinished and prefinished certified fire door options are available as are distinctive glazed door designs, with toughened glass for extra safety.
Internal doors are PEFC certified and EUTR compliant and carry a 5 year manufacturers guarantee.
Premium external doors are manufactured using White Oak or Meranti to both faces and are constructed in tradition mortice and tenon or a solid one piece specification. On mortice and tenon constructed doors, hardwood cores are tightly controlled with only the best parts of the logs used for this purpose. Such is the variety of eye catching designs, finding an external door to suit is almost inevitable. These exterior doors, when glazed, are to a very high standard, utilising insulated multiple pane glass units for reduced heat loss and enhanced sound proofing. All external doors are supplied unfinished ready for staining or painting.
One piece slab constructed doors are without joints, offering maximum stability and reduced risk of water ingress. Distinctive glazing options are available as are decorative obscure glass panels assuring additional privacy.
External doors are FSC certified and EUTR compliant and carry a 5 year manufacturers guarantee. A selection of Part L compliant doors may be found in the Premium Door Collection.
