For over 60 years, Amtico has designed and manufactured luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring from its home in Coventry. Its core collections provide an array of Wood and Stone finishes, laying patterns and design combinations, making them ideal for projects of all sizes, from private homes and apartments to studios, hallways, and shared amenities.
Dedicated project support
Amtico’s Multi-Occupancy team works with developers, contractors and designers across private sale developments, build-to-rent, student accommodation, housing associations and later living. Led by Nikki Wright, Head of Business Development, the team combines more than 40 years of experience across residential and commercial environments, including Business Development Managers Jessica Jarvis, Helen Helm, and Keith Helm.
The team provides a dedicated point of contact, combining sector and product expertise to coordinate product selection and performance requirements across private and shared spaces. This includes specification development, technical guidance, and sample boards, with support continuing throughout the project.
Collections for every part of the scheme
For apartments and studios, First offers a focused collection of 22 popular Woods and Stones, including parquet options, for high-volume specifications. The Spacia collection provides a wider palette of contemporary Woods and Stones, including the new Terrazzo and Piazza designs, while every Wood is available across all plank sizes and laying patterns, including 140 parquet options.
For reception areas, resident lounges and shared amenities, Signature, Amtico’s premium flagship collection, offers the greatest scope for creative expression through an extensive palette of Woods, Stones and Colours, alongside precision-cut laying patterns and bespoke design. Its 1mm wear layer is supported by a 20-year commercial warranty, making it suited to demanding interiors.
Performance tailored to the project
After selecting a flooring design, specifiers can add Acoustic, Safety or Bio enhancements individually or they can be combined to help maintain design continuity when more than one performance benefit is required.
Available across Signature, Form, Spacia and First, Amtico Acoustic features a built-in sound-reducing backing with the selected LVT. It reduces impact sound transmission between floors by up to 19dB, helping improve occupant comfort in mid- and high-rise buildings. The backing is built into the planks and tiles at Amtico’s Coventry factory, so there is no separate underlay to install. Removing this stage can reduce labour and installation time, avoid offcut waste from underlay rolls, and provide cost efficiencies.
For high-traffic areas, Signature Safety and Spacia Safety provide enhanced slip resistance and meet the BS EN 13845 standard. Amtico Bio, meanwhile, is made using bio-attributed PVC derived from renewable biomass sources to reduce embodied carbon by between 20% and 28%, depending on the collection. Amtico Bio is available across Signature, Form and Spacia.
