Since 1977, Aqualisa has helped shape the way people shower. The British bathroom manufacturer began by developing a thermostatically controlled shower valve that improved temperature stability and safety, before going on to invent the world’s first digital shower.
Today, the company continues that focus on intelligent, user-led design with its new S Range of smart digital showers.
Designed and built by Aqualisa in Westerham, Kent, the S Range brings together the company’s experience in water control, connected technology and bathroom design. Its aim is to make advanced showering feel intuitive, reliable and relevant to everyday life, while giving housebuilders, architects and designers the flexibility needed across modern residential schemes.
The collection is built around Aqualisa’s concealed SmartValve™ technology. By monitoring and regulating water temperature ten times per second, the system delivers precise, consistent performance. The valve can be located up to ten metres from the shower, helping to simplify installation, provide easier access for maintenance and support uncluttered bathroom schemes.
Three models provide a clear specification journey
S1 combines smart connectivity with familiar illuminated dials and push-button operation. S2 adds an HD digital temperature display and enhanced app-based personalisation. S3 is the flagship model, with a horizontal format, fully customisable HD glass display and advanced lighting options for a more architectural, high-end finish. Across the collection, multiple configurations and a choice of Chrome, Brushed Brass, Matt Black and Gunmetal Grey make it possible to coordinate the shower with wider bathroom finishes and different interior styles.
The range has also been developed around the needs of the homeowner. Depending on the model, users can activate the shower remotely or by voice, create personal routines and control temperature, flow and duration through the Aqualisa app. Water-use information is visible within the app, while eco mode can reduce flow by up to 33%, using as little as eight litres per minute.
Quality, service and long-term support remain central to Aqualisa’s offer. The S Range is WRAS approved, supplied in 100% recyclable packaging and backed by a five-year warranty. A UK-based customer service team supports the range, alongside dedicated resources for trade professionals and specifiers, helping to provide continuity from initial product selection and project specification through to installation, homeowner handover and long-term aftercare.
