Regional housebuilder Beal Homes has launched its latest £40 million project, Ferriby Meadows, situated in the sought-after village of North Ferriby, East Yorkshire. This ambitious development brings 115 luxury homes to the area, with 14 properties already reserved, reflecting an early buyer commitment totalling £6.9 million. The swift uptake suggests a notable demand for high-quality housing in this prime location.
Ferriby Meadows includes a diverse range of two, three, four, and five-bedroom houses, alongside bungalows with three or four bedrooms, with current prices starting at £379,995 and reaching £759,995. While these price points are positioned at the higher end of the local market, Beal Homes has noted strong interest, which Sales and Marketing Director Ross Clarkson attributes to the development’s location and design offerings. According to Clarkson, the company anticipated high interest, though the volume of early reservations has exceeded expectations.
Designed to appeal to a broad audience, Ferriby Meadows presents varied architectural styles and house types, integrating contemporary features such as agate grey or cream windows. The homes meet current building standards and incorporate environmentally conscious elements, with solar photovoltaic (PV) panels included as standard across all properties. Inside, the homes are equipped with high-quality finishes, including Villeroy & Boch sanitaryware, premium kitchen appliances, and landscaped front and rear gardens.
To mark the launch, Beal Homes hosted an event at its Hessle headquarters, giving prospective buyers a chance to explore Ferriby Meadows through immersive 3D technology, which provided detailed views of the available homes. This virtual approach to showcasing properties highlights Beal’s investment in technology-driven marketing to engage potential buyers.
The development features several new house types, including the three-bedroom Kettlewell, the four-bedroom Swinton dormer bungalow, and the five-bedroom Hambleton. Construction is expected to commence shortly, with the first homes projected to be ready by autumn 2025, enabling early buyers to move in within a year.
Situated just seven miles from Hull, North Ferriby provides robust transport connections to nearby cities such as Leeds and York, catering to professionals seeking a blend of village living and city accessibility. The village itself offers a range of amenities, contributing to its appeal as a desirable residential setting.
In keeping with Beal’s customer-oriented approach, buyers at Ferriby Meadows will have access to the company’s design team, allowing them to personalise elements of their homes according to their lifestyle needs.
