Bellway has unveiled its latest show home to the public at its new development in St Leonards-on-Sea, opening the four-bedroom Scrivener house to prospective buyers at its Porters Grove site near Darwell Close on Saturday 26 August. Visitors were invited to view the spacious show home along with a three-bedroom view home for the first time. The show home launch arrives after the first residents at Porters Grove were welcomed into their new homes in July.
Mark Harrop, Sales Director for Bellway Kent, said: “This development has proved to be extremely popular with the public and has generated a great deal of interest. We released the first homes onto the market last November, and in that time 28 plots have already been reserved.
“The high level of interest was reflected in the excellent turn-out for the show home launch. Prospective purchasers were keen to get a look inside a completed property at Porters Grove and based on the feedback we received from visitors the Scrivener did not disappoint.
“People particularly liked the impressive entrance hall and spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and family area, as well as the conveniently positioned utility room and storage cupboards. The Scrivener is part of our flagship Artisan Collection and features a high specification with a range of integrated appliances in the kitchen and Roca sanitaryware in the bathrooms.
“We’re building a variety of two, three and four-bedroom properties at Porters Grove which are appealing to a wide range of buyers. The coastal location, just two miles from the beach, is a big draw for downsizers while we’ve also seen plenty of interest from families who like the fact West St Leonards Primary Academy is only half a mile away.”
Bellway is constructing 210 houses at Porters Grove, on the former site of the Darwell Campus of the St Leonards Academy. These will comprise 158 properties for private homes and 52 affordable homes for low-cost rent or shared ownership.
