BrickVest, the London based online real estate investment platform, has announced the appointment of Jean Romain Lhomme, former head of Colony Capital Europe, to its board in a move to further develop BrickVest‘s institutional level online investment platform.
Jean Romain Lhomme will help the firm to further strengthen its commitment to developing its institutional quality investment offerings coupled with first class governance, while offering unique tools to assess, build and manage real estate investment portfolios online.
BrickVest’s platform allows investors to invest in institutional grade commercial real estate investment opportunities with the ease of an online trading platform. Investors can access real estate that previously was only accessible to large institutions such as pension funds and insurance companies.
Jean-Romain Lhomme co-headed Colony Capital Europe from 2000 to 2015, where he was responsible for the identification, valuation, execution and monitoring of European investments. As an active technology business angel since 2015, he co-founded PJX10 with technology entrepreneurs, a laboratory dedicated to innovative startups. He is also currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BUT and a Board member of the Endered Group. Jean-Romain Lhomme is a graduate of Grande Ecole, HEC Paris. Jean-Romain Lhomme is also the lead investor in the current fundraising round at BrickVest.
Jean-Romain Lhomme joins a vastly experienced team at BrickVest which earlier this year announced the appointment of Remi Antonini, former head of Goldman Sachs & Exane real estate research as Head of BrickVest Ratings, its institutional investment rating program.
