Bristol-based housebuilder Wain Homes Severn Valley is set to deliver nearly 600 energy efficient new homes across Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and the West Midlands after a flurry of successful planning approvals.
Headquartered in Bradley Stoke, Wain Homes Severn Valley has now started construction work on seven new developments which will deliver 593 new homes, including 173 affordable homes, with a joint Gross Development Value (GDV) of £225m.
As part of the development agreements and Community Infrastructure Levies (CIL), Wain Homes will contribute more than £7million to local infrastructure, green spaces, education and health services.

The largest of the new developments will see 125 new homes constructed at Badbury Green in Faringdon, Oxfordshire and 119 properties at Hillwood Gardens in Coventry.
Other sites include Mead Fields in Parklands, Weston-super-Mare which will feature 95 homes; 75 homes at Cherry Blossom View in Midsomer Norton and 70 homes at Keyford On The Green in Frome, Somerset,
A further 67 homes will be delivered at Horizon in Westbury, Wiltshire and 42 at Lister Gardens 2 in Cam, Gloucestershire.
Every new home will include electric vehicle charging with 86 per cent of the homes featuring Photo Voltaic (PV) technologies. Many of the properties will also include heat pumps, supporting Wain Homes’ sustainability objectives.
