As the first phase of homes at the landmark Oldfold Village development in Milltimber draws to a close, with just four five-bedroom properties remaining, CALA Homes has taken a closer look at the impact the milestone community has already made in the area.
The development has so far welcomed 46 families including 64 children and 14 pets – the first residents in what promises to become a thriving new community. The luxury housebuilder has used around 341,500 pieces of blockwork on the homes, garages and walls as well as 103,250 roof tiles and has laid 1,230 metres of road as the new neighbourhood begins to take shape.
CALA’s attention to detail has also extended to the open spaces within the development with 283 new trees planted in the 6.37 acres of green space found at Milltimber Grange.
The charming development also features a Victorian aqueduct which runs through the middle of Oldfold Village.
CALA Homes plans to build an extensive community at the location, comprising 550 homes as well as a brand new primary school. The housebuilder has now released the second phase of the development, Milltimber Manor.
The first release of homes comprises four exquisite properties located in an exclusive pocket of the development, named Principals Row.
