Following Kebbell’s announcement of planning approval and work commencing on a fifth phase at Cornelian Fields near Scarborough, they continue to report booming sales and now have an 18 month waiting list for new homes.
With over 65% now reserved/sold on the fourth phase (106 homes) and reservations being taken for the fifth phase (107 homes), Andrea Fawell, Sales and Marketing Director at Kebbell says: “We are delighted that homes at Cornelian Fields continue to be purchased at an extraordinary rate and we are working tirelessly to keep up with the demand. The race for space is unprecedented because of a lack of new build supply in the area, an increased post-pandemic desire to move closer to open spaces, and a chronic lack of properties on the secondhand market.”
Situated in the coastal community of Middle Deepdale near Scarborough, North Yorkshire, the collection of homes on offer varies from £254,950 for a 1,044 sq. ft three-bedroom house to £314,950 for a 1,144 sq. ft four-bedroom detached house. All the two beds in the fourth phase have already been reserved. Cornelian Fields comprised 125 homes in the first three phases and building in phase four is already fully underway with a third of homes already occupied.
Charlotte and Michael McSharry bought their dream coastal home at Cornelian Fields in just two hours. Michael says: “We had already spent a lot of time looking at properties and had been let down a lot. When I arrived at Cornelian Fields, I asked to see a three-bed detached house but the sales advisor told me the only property that would be available for when we needed it by was a four-bed detached home. Having driven away and taken a few minutes to think, I drove back and handed over the reservation fee!”
