Reginox has grown into one of the UK’s leading brands for kitchen sinks, taps and accessories. It’s a well-earned reputation based on the quality and innovation of its products and a willingness to listen to its customers in the pursuit of service excellence.
Such status isn’t achieved overnight and Reginox UK has 25 years of continuous development to thank for its place at the top table of housebuilding and KBB suppliers.
As the cliché goes, there is no I in team, but one man – Commercial Director Dave Mayer – is the constant throughout the rise and rise of Reginox.
His vision and endeavour won him our Lifetime Achievement Award in this year’s Showhome online awards, but as Dave pointed out at the time, none of it would have been possible without the ‘amazing people who have worked around him’.
Reginox has just announced a restructuring of its sales team as it looks to accelerate future growth.
Mark Skinner has joined as new National Sales Manager, mainly covering London and the south east, but also working closely with Andy Robinson, UK Contract Specification Manager, to build on an order pipeline that has already surpassed last year’s £600k by some margin while 2026 is shaping up to be even better.
Mark is stepping into the role vacated by Rebekah Tomkinson, who has been appointed National Key Accounts and Business Development Manager. Her role is to target major suppliers in the UK kitchen industry, including DIY retailers, multi outlet merchants and kitchen furniture manufacturers, as well as serving as area sales manager for the north. Rebekah has been with Reginox for 12 years and another member of the team who knows the business inside out is Sales Office Manager Hope Eardley, who has spent her entire eight-year sales career with the Cheshire-based business.
Dave Mayer: “We’ve assembled a strong team and as we look to the future, I fervently hope that some of them will be earmarked for more senior roles within the business as we move forward and continue to restructure to achieve even more success.
“I strongly believe we have an unparalleled product offering, and I strive to ensure that our team offer our customers the best quality products and prices all backed up by our service-driven approach that means we operate with a ‘complete, on-time, every time’ philosophy.”
Dave Mayer – combining professionalism with enthusiasm
Commercial Director Dave has put together a team in his own image, one that has an infectious enthusiasm for Reginox and its products together with a high level of professionalism.
Reginox was a fledgling UK business when Dave was approached to become its National Sales Manager in 2000 after working in the KBB sector for over 15 years. He was promoted to Sales and Marketing Director two years later and became Commercial Director in 2021. Dave’s ethos of supporting the personal development of staff who show loyalty and commitment to the business and brand is fundamental to any restructure of the UK management team, bringing in new roles and positions to accommodate growth.
However, back to the early days of his tenure, Dave recognised Reginox needed a multi-product offering beyond stainless steel if the multi-channel route to market was to be sustainable.Stainless steel sinks, all of which are manufactured in Holland, account for nearly 50% of Reginox UK’s sales and while they remain at the core of the Reginox offer, Dave has cultivated carefully selected partnerships, offering one of the most comprehensive ranges of multi price point composites, ceramic and granite sinks on the market.
The most recent manifestation of this approach is the development of the granite sinks collection, setting the standard for composite sinks.
Designed and manufactured in Italy by one of Reginox UK’s long-standing partners, the Reginox-branded Elite Granite Collection offers high-quality, coloured materials combined with stylish designs and differing shapes, bowl and drainer patterns. As Reginox evolves, the people who make the business are having to evolve with it.
Hope Eardley – forging new ways of working
Reginox UK’s assault on the housebuilding and specification sector is paying dividends, but has led to some creative internal thinking, as Hope Eardley, Sales Office Manager, explains.
“After eight years of working within the same order processing structure, and primarily handling smaller orders, we’ve experienced a significant shift as we deal more with developers,” she says. “The way we manage orders in the sales office has had to evolve. We’re now seeing larger orders and call off schedules, which has required us to look at adapting our systems to support new ways of working.
“It’s been a steep learning curve, involving training and adjustments along the way, whilst still managing the day-to-day operations. It’s an ongoing process that’s pushing us to be more creative, work smarter and think outside the box.”
Hope’s office-based sales team is responsible for customer liaison and care, order input and handling enquiries from customers on the telephone and via email. She also supports Dave Mayer with Reginox UK’s PR strategy. Having been at Reginox for eight years, she provides invaluable support to new members of the whole team.
