Designer Contracts, one of the UK’s largest flooring contractor, has moved and significantly expanded its Yorkshire office.
Forming part of a network of regional offices around mainland UK, the company’s Yorkshire operation has now outgrown its current premises in Harehills, Leeds and is future proofing further growth with the move to newly refurbished offices in Riverside Place. This can accommodate more than 20 people as opposed to the four-desk capacity of the previous office.
Peter Kelsey Designer Contracts md, said: “Our Yorkshire operation is flourishing and required a considerably larger base to accommodate the increase in staff and any future growth.
“This office is more accessible in terms of location than the old one and the new building has been completely refurbished with eco-options used wherever possible – including, for example, with air source heat pumps.
“The move took place over the Summer and both our area manager Jason Turnbull, along with sales manager Samantha Forbes, are incredibly excited by potential the new premises offer.”
Designer Contracts operates nationally. As well as flooring, the company provides blinds and curtains, furniture and lighting, and operates a show home interior design service division.
