Birmingham’s most popular suburbs seeing strong demand for quality rental properties, says DM & Co. Homes.
DM & Co. Lettings is on the lookout for more developments of multiple properties after reporting a tremendous run of success in recent weeks. Gabrielle Argue, Head of Lettings and Property Management, said: “We are very keen to talk to landlords with multiple properties which are either vacant or require a rent review.
“Our recent successes demonstrate increasing demand for our services.”
At Carlton Lodge, a luxury development of 14 apartments in leafy, much sought-after Moseley, DM & Co. Lettings has let eight of the apartments, the company’s New Homes division has sold three properties and there is now only one remaining.
Gabrielle said: “The village spirit, city living vibe in Moseley means the area always popular and we have now been instructed to manage the tenancies of the eight rented apartments.”
DM & Co. Lettings enjoyed a similar success at a development in Hall Green where the team let all eight apartments and now manage the tenancies for the landlord.
Gabrielle Argue and her team also operate the fast growing Landlords’ Club which was launched last December to help grow the supply of rental properties across the West Midlands and Warwickshire.
The initiative is providing so popular and as well as West Midlands and UK clients is also attracting attention from investors as far as Hong Kong, Dubai and Switzerland.
DM & Co. Homes launched The Landlords’ Club in December 2021 and already over 400 individuals have signed up, with more joining every day. The success of the Landlords’ Club and the lettings and management team is reflected in DM & Co.’s overall results. Last year, the company sold 367 homes across Solihull, Knowle, Dorridge and the surrounding areas in just 12 months – up 85% on 2020. And in the first six months of this year, DM & Co. Homes has continued to forge ahead, with 387 sales agreed, and has become the specialist land consultant of choice for a number of developers in Solihull and north Warwickshire.
