Fisher and Paykel has announced the new appointment of Stephen Tipper as its latest Building Developer Manager in the UK. In this new role, Stephen will be working in close hand with builders and developers across the nation, specifically targeting the luxury development market. He will also be introducing and demonstrating the full range of luxury appliances that the company offer, solidifying its position as a premium appliance supplier of choice for developers and builders alike.
Furthermore, building long term relationships with new clients will be another key responsibility for Stephen, mainly due to the timeframes involved in some of these projects. An important factor of the role will be demonstrating Fisher and Paykel’s ability to provide superior service with unique and top-quality products which add value to developments.
Prior to his appointment at Fisher & Paykel, Stephen worked for eight years at Terence Ball Kitchens where he was promoted to Director and Head of Design. During this time, he managed the design and implementation of bespoke projects across the UK, to end users as well as luxury developers. He soon acquired a flair for bespoke furniture design and specification, giving him the privilege of working on a range of beautiful projects across the UK.
Stephen comes from a background in the sustainable heat and power industry where he carried out design, technical sales and project management; specifically, working on commercial and large-scale agricultural projects to deliver renewable district heating solutions. This provided a key insight into what is involved in technical sales and large project deployment. Similarly, he developed a strong understanding and passion for sustainability, aligning with Fisher & Paykel’s ethos.
