Pear Stairs is a large, independent supplier and manufacturer of staircases and stair parts for internal and external applications.

We are based in Mid-Wales and supply the whole of the UK with sustainable, unique, affordable staircases, balustrades and stair parts, with delivery direct to the end user.

We produce thousands of standard and bespoke designs of staircases in an array of traditional and contemporary styles to suit all budgets.

So if you want a grand curved oak staircase for a large entry hall or a compact space saver staircase for when space is limited; a balustrade for your outdoor decking area or a new multi-storey staircase in converted flats, Pear Stairs will be able to help you design and built it.

We have a dedicated team of designers and craftsmen that work to design and build straight, winder, landing and curved stairs, with cut strings or closed strings.

Designs will be built to suit exacting specifications and your personal taste. We only use the best value materials, including a choice of A-grade softwoods and hardwoods, including oak, pine, hemlock and walnut, or primed timbers ready to paint.

We also have spindles and fittings made of metals with a choice of attractive finishes, such as chrome or gunmetal. As well as glass panels for use with indoor or outdoor balustrade, ideal for use on stairs, landings and decking when you want a more modern look.

Visit our website and design your own staircase for free with the StairCreator planning tool. This is a free online design programme that allows you to design a staircase to suit your requirements, get an instant estimate of the cost and shows you a 3D representation of how your design will look when assembled, making the design process easy.

The Pear Stairs website is also a popular place for property experts, builders, interior designers and home-owners to purchase the individual stair parts you need for creating your own unique design of staircase or balustrade.

We can supply all the parts you need so you can build a new staircase from scratch, or renovate or revamp an old one. We have a huge supply of parts sourced from popular suppliers or produced in our own UK factory, including a huge selection of spindles and balusters in an array of different styles, corresponding newel posts, caps and turnings, various modern and traditional handrail and baserail profiles, as well as all the treads, risers, nosing and other fixings and fittings you might need.

Pear Stairs is a long established company with a team of dedicated craftsmen who pay attention to details. All our stairs are dry-fitted in the factory to guarantee a perfect fit and easy installation on site. Staircases and stair parts are delivered across the UK, to the end user, with our own fleet of dedicated vans.
