The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG), part of DER KREIS, a kitchen and bathroom buying group, has launched a consumer-facing website: www.mykitchenspecialist.co.uk. The website will generate sales leads for KBBG members by helping consumers who are planning a kitchen renovation. KBBG members benefit by having their showroom listed on the site.

The website has launched with the aim to become the UK’s leading network of independent kitchen specialists. Consumers can click on the ‘find a specialist’ button to search for a local kitchen retailer and make direct enquiries with them regarding their kitchen project.

My Kitchen Specialist provides top tips to help consumers make the right choices when planning and buying a new kitchen. There is also the opportunity to browse a selection of retailers’ projects, which showcase some of the incredible designs created by independent kitchen specialists in the UK.

Leading kitchen furniture and appliance manufacturers are also to be found on the website and consumers can easily view and download their latest brochures. In addition, My Kitchen Specialist boasts a handy pricing tool. By following seven easy steps, consumers can get a price estimate for their kitchen project, which will instantly establish whether their initial ideas are in-line with their potential budget.

Bill Miller, Managing Director, KBBG, comments: “We are delighted to launch www.mykitchenspecialist.co.uk. It is another huge benefit for our members as it will generate leads for our independent kitchen specialists across the country. A major challenge for independent kitchen retailers is to be visible to potential customers in their area at a time when they are looking to buy. My Kitchen Specialist creates a unique platform and makes it easy for consumers to find a retailer, bringing the expertise of our members and suppliers together to create a fount of knowledge and inspiration for consumers planning a kitchen renovation.

“We’re excited to complete the circle of our offering as a buying group by introducing consumers directly to our members. The website will bring our independent kitchen specialists to the attention of eligible customers early on in their kitchen projects. It is an exciting time for the development and growth of the KBBG and a very positive addition to our offering.”

Bill adds: “As a buying group, we are stronger together. Being part of the My Kitchen Specialist network will boost independent kitchen specialists’ visibility and credibility, helping them to compete with national retail chains.”
