With open-plan living spaces as popular as ever, the need for elegant kitchen cabinetry that is made to be seen continues. This is where Scavolini’s new Libra collection comes in. A complete furniture range, Libra is designed to fit stylishly into contemporary kitchens, and onwards into the living room and even bathroom, for a sophisticated and cohesive look throughout the home.
What immediately sets Libra apart is Perlage, a pearlescent colour that adds sophistication to the sleek 22mm-thick doors. And not only are flat slab doors available, but Libra also showcases a distinctive ribbed effect, which runs either vertically or horizontally to create an eye-catching design. The ribbed door is available in glass or lacquer (gloss and matt options), as well as in veneer, while slab doors come in a choice of Fenix NTM, textured melamine and laminate. In addition to the new Perlage shade, Scavolini’s full range of colours and finishes are on offer with Libra.
Recessed profile grip doors complete the look of Libra, adding a functional element that doesn’t detract from the beauty of the cabinet fronts. For an on-trend tone-on-tone effect, recessed grip profiles and plinths can be matched with the doors to ensure that the striking finishes speak for themselves.
Another key feature of the Libra collection is that the modular base units and wall units come in a 75cm width. This provides an appealing alternative to the standard 60cm width and is ideal for accommodating the latest generation of extra-large built-in appliances.
Bringing contrast to the Libra kitchen are the industrial-look perforated Sheet Metal wall units. The Dark Steel aluminium-framed doors come in a choice of Round (shown) or Linear wire mesh, and with interior lighting create a ‘now you see me, now you don’t’ effect. Glass-fronted wall units are also available, in either smoked or reflective Stopsol glass. There’s even the option to have open-fronted modules with reduced depth, perfect for providing stylishly designed storage solutions in small spaces.
