The new Lumina collection from Scavolini brings cool good looks to the kitchen, perfect for those seeking a clean and contemporary feel. The beauty of the Lumina range is that it comes in a full range of finishes and materials, so it’s flexible enough to appeal to every taste and scheme. This makes it the ideal choice for homes where the kitchen is open to the living areas and always on show.
Lumina furniture is available in a range of door front materials, so you can have the Lumina look to match your kitchen budget. Choose from textured melamine, laminate, veneer, Fenix NTM or lacquer, all in a variety of colours. The lacquered doors also come in pearlescent and metal-effect shades, as well as in gloss or matt. For a really special finish, you can specify matt or polished glass doors, or even on-trend ribbed glass (horizontal or vertical) with an aluminium frame in White, Silver or Iron Grey.
For the wall units – or, as here, sliding cabinets placed handily on the worktop – make a point of difference with perforated Sheet Metal doors. Finished in Dark Steel with a choice of Round (shown) or Linear perforations, the doors can be lit from behind to make a display of the contents inside. Smoked or reflective Stopsol glass doors are also a stylish option for wall units.
A key design element of the handleless Lumina door is that the finger pull is angled at 40º to make it easier to grip, combined with either a Rounded or Flat (shown) recessed grip profile. Finally, the base and wall units are available in a new 75cm width, in addition to the standard 60cm. As well as more storage, this offers flexibility for housing extra-wide built-in appliances.
