Owain Harrison will take the reins as Managing Director of the KBBG (part of DER KREIS) from January 2025, succeeding Bill Miller, who will step down after 11 years in the role at the end of 2024.
Currently Global Business and Brand Development Director at Novy, part of Middleby Residential, Harrison brings over 20 years of global experience in the kitchen and bathroom sector. His leadership has been instrumental in transforming Novy into a luxury brand in the UK and Ireland, and he has held senior roles at Hoover Candy Group and Indesit Company.
Harrison expressed his excitement about joining KBBG, stating: “I look forward to continuing Bill Miller’s excellent work, supporting independent retailers and driving growth in the KBB sector. The need for independent retailers to maximise margins and strengthen business relationships has never been more urgent.”
Reflecting on his tenure, Bill Miller said: “It’s been an honour to support independent retailers. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved and am confident that Owain will take the KBBG to new heights.”
Harrison’s appointment marks a new chapter for the UK’s leading independent buying group for the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom industry, as he aims to build on Miller’s legacy and drive innovation in the sector.
