SevenHomes, the regional housebuilder by SevenCapital Group, has welcomed a new senior hire to its land and planning team.
Lee Jones joins the team, based on Birmingham’s Colmore Row, as Senior Technical Manager. With over 20 years’ worth of experience and a proven track record in the residential property industry, Lee began his career after achieving a degree in Architecture from Birmingham City University.
Having worked with a number of housebuilders at a local and national level, including Taylor Wimpey and McCarthy & Stone, Lee joins the team from Northamptonshire-based Talbot Homes, where he acted as Head of Technical.
In his new role as Senior Technical Manager, Lee will be responsible for overseeing the technical function of the business and supporting the team’s land acquisition and planning discipline, as well managing and monitoring all technical and statutory obligations.
Lee commented: “I am thrilled to become the latest addition to SevenHomes and to join a team known for its commitment to excellence. I look forward to playing a key role and collaborating with the team’s exceptionally talented professionals to leverage our collective experience and make a positive impact in the residential property sector.”
Abdul Ali, Executive Director and Head of Office for SevenHomes, said: “Lee is an excellent addition to the team. It has been an exciting first half of the year for the business, with a number of key development sites now in planning, and with his housebuilding experience I am sure he will prove to be an invaluable asset to the team as we continue to implement our growth strategy for SevenHomes.”
