A showhome has been unveiled at a new development in Ash Green, where more than half of the homes for sale have now been reserved.
The three-bedroom detached Verbena – at Ashberry Homes’ Chestnut Grove, off White Lane – will give prospective buyers the chance to visualise the layout and quality of construction of typical homes at the development – which was opened on Saturday 2 October.
With construction progressing well on site, the first residents at Chestnut Grove are due to move into their new homes in January – and 26 of the 35 private houses have already been sold.
Ashberry Homes is providing a further 24 homes at the development as affordable housing, available for local people through rent or shared ownership.

The showhome has an open-plan kitchen/dining/family room with French doors that lead out into the back garden, while there’s also a separate living room and a utility room on the ground floor. Upstairs is an en-suite master bedroom, two further good-sized bedrooms and a family bathroom.
Dan said: “The showhome will be available to view by prior appointment, so we would encourage people to get in touch with our sales team to book their visit, as we’re expecting a great deal of interest following an in demand launch weekend on 2 October.”
Chestnut Grove comprises a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses in a range of designs.
There’s currently a choice of three and four-bedroom properties available to reserve, with prices starting from £485,000 for the Verbena, a three-bedroom semi-detached home.
