After a record year of growth with new schemes across the country, award-winning residential property developer – Story Homes – has appointed Yorkshire-based entrepreneur James Lambert OBE to the board as non-executive director.
The former chairman of R&R Ice Cream, Europe’s leading supplier of own-label frozen ice creams, has significant experience in supporting business growth and is currently chairman of Burton’s Business Co, Animalcare Group PLC and Wagg Foods Limited.
James will play a key role in his new position at Story Homes, helping to support the housebuilder’s extensive expansion plans and preserving its renowned reputation for delivering high-quality homes.

The entrepreneur was recently awarded an OBE after transforming a small independent ice cream company with just five employees into a 4,000-strong, world renowned manufacturer with 10 production sites across the UK, Europe and Australia. R&R Ice Cream supplies own-label ice cream to major European supermarkets and has brand licences with Mondelez, Nestle and Disney.
