The 1810 Company has recognised the significant contribution of Regional Sales Manager Neil Cockcroft as he prepares to leave the business after 15 years of service.
Neil joined the company in the year following its formation, helping to build early momentum for what would go on to become one of the UK’s most recognisable brands in the KBB sector. His departure marks the end of a long-standing chapter in the company’s history.
Last week, colleagues marked the occasion during Christmas jumper day, when Neil was presented with a leaving gift in recognition of his commitment and achievements.
Reflecting on his time with the business, Neil spoke of his pride in being part of the company’s growth and success over more than a decade.
“It’s been an honour to contribute to The 1810 Company’s journey from its early days through to becoming the leading sink and tap brand in the UK,” he explained. “Watching the company grow into what it is today fills me with immense pride.
“The brand truly speaks for itself – it has always stood out for its quality and innovation, supported by a fantastic team that goes above and beyond for customers.
“I’m proud to have played a role in building that reputation.”
Since joining the business in 2010, Neil has been a constant presence within the sales team, holding a number of senior positions including Regional and National Sales Manager roles. During this time, he was involved in many of the key milestones that shaped the company’s development.
His expertise across 1810’s stainless steel and PVD ranges, as well as SCHOCK’s quartz composite offering following the 2022 acquisition, played a key role in supporting continued growth. Alongside sales, his responsibilities extended into product management and development, customer relationship management, and representing the brand at industry events and exhibitions.
In his most recent role, Neil was responsible for customers across the north-west of England, North Wales and Scotland. This region will now be overseen by Sarah Jane Dow, who joined the business in November 2025 as one of three new Regional Sales Managers.
As he prepares to move on, Neil expressed his appreciation for customers and colleagues, and his confidence in the company’s future.
“It has been a privilege to work alongside our customers and with the team throughout my time here, and I will genuinely miss them,” he said.
“As I move on, I encourage our customers to continue supporting the business with the help of my successor, Sarah Jane, as 1810 continues to go from strength to strength under SCHOCK.”
Bernhard van Ommen, Managing Director of The 1810 Company, also paid tribute to Neil’s long service and impact on the business.
“Neil has played an integral role in helping establish and grow the 1810 brand.
“His dedication, energy and professionalism has benefited countless customers and colleagues over the years.
“We are extremely grateful for everything he has contributed and wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
