Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited, the UK’s largest manufacturer of household appliances, has promoted Christian Smith to National Account Controller, responsible for AO.com
Christian Smith joined the appliance giant almost seven years ago and has held various sales roles within the company. Christian began his career with Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited responsible for the laundry category, and also held a role within the small domestic appliance team, responsible for the category’s approach to the UK market.
Previous to Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited, Christian developed Phillips as a consumer lifestyle brand across Europe as Leading National Accounts. Christian was responsible for all UK independent retailers with LG Electronics and spent 10 years with Sharp Electronics as a Regional Sales Manager
Christian has now spent three years working closely with AO.com as a National Account Manager where he has seen the scale of the business develop substantially. The recent integration of Whirlpool Corporation and Indesit Company provides Christian with a positive outlook to move forward with Whirlpool UK Appliances and AO.com.
