Biomass heating specialists, Windhager UK will be returning to exhibit at the Heating & Renewables Roadshow this September. Showing in five cities across the UK, the roadshow brings together professionals in the domestic, commercial and rural renewable energy sector.The event will also be hosting the Heating & Renewables Awards to celebrate the increasing success of the renewables sector.Having worked with a hundreds of installers across the UK, Windhager is sponsoring the Biomass Installer of the Year award.
Known to be an exceptionally entertaining event, the Heating & Renewables Award ceremony will be hosted by comedian Jason Manford at the opening venue of the roadshow, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on Thursday 10th September. Previously known as the Energy Efficiency & Renewables Awards, the event has expanded to introduce new categories, as well as keeping original favourites.
Windhager is encouraging installation companies to complete their free* application for Biomass Installer of the Year award before the deadline on Tuesday 30th June 2015. In sponsoring this award, Windhager hopes that installers will gain the well-deserved recognition for their part in the rapid growth of biomass in the renewables sector.
Since the launch of the non-domestic RHI in 2011 and the domestic RHI in 2014, Windhager has seen a significant growth in demand for biomass boilers with over 500 of Windhager’s BioWIN 2 domestic boilers being installed across the UK since its launch in the summer of 2014.
