Roca Group UK & Ireland is delighted to welcome Zara Oatey as Project Specification Manager – North, marking another step in the company’s ongoing investment in its Specification team. Zara brings extensive experience from across the bathroom industry, having spent over three years as Specification Sales Manager at VADO.
Her career began in 2019 in a dynamic showroom environment, where she quickly discovered a passion for product-focused, solution-led design support.
“Joining Roca Group felt like the perfect next step,” says Zara. “I’ve always been drawn to the specification side of the industry – being hands-on with both products and projects. Roca’s reputation, along with the strength and prestige of the LAUFEN brand, really stood out to me.”
In her new role, Zara will lead specification activity across the North of England, collaborating with architects, designers and merchant partners to provide bespoke bathroom solutions for commercial and residential projects.
Since joining the business, Zara has embraced the opportunity to deepen her understanding of both Roca and LAUFEN’s extensive product portfolios. “The LAUFEN ranges in particular are beautifully designed,” she adds. “There’s a real sense of innovation and diversity in the collections – it’s been an exciting learning experience and I’m loving every moment.”
Zara also praises the welcoming culture at Roca Group – and is excited for the future. “The onboarding has been fantastic. Everyone’s been so supportive, which made settling in really easy and I already feel like part of the team. I’m looking forward to getting stuck into live projects,
